Available Positions

Apprentices

  • Based on the North Shore of Auckland
  • Great hourly rate for apprentices depending on experience

The Role:

You will report to the Site Manager and/or the Director. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Build, erect, install and repair forms, structures and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to assist with various types of construction projects.
  • Complete tasks effectively and accurately within agreed timeframes.
  • Following established Health & Safety and building regulation requirements on site.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Who we are looking for:

  • A team player who is able to work well with others.
  • Someone who is willing to learn and able to take direction.
  • Great communication and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to plan ahead.
  • Achievement of level 1 NCEA Maths and English is preferred.
  • Further academic qualifications or part/full time work experience in other industries can be of value.
  • NZ residency or work visa essential.
  • Current drivers licence.

Hammer Hands

  • Based on the North Shore of Auckland
  • Great hourly rate for hammer hands depending on experience

The Role:

You will report to the Site Manager and/or the Director. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Complete tasks effectively and accurately within agreed timeframes.

  • Experience in remediation/reclad work is preferred, but not essential.
  • Great communication and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to plan ahead.
  • You have your own tool belt and power tools – large saws, breakers etc. will be provided.
  • NZ residency or work visa essential.
  • Current drivers licence.

Carpenter

  • Based on the North Shore of Auckland
  • Hourly rate from $50 (independent contracting) depending on experience

The Role:

You will report to the Site Manager and/or the Director. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Build, erect, install and repair forms, structures and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to assist with various types of construction projects.
  • Complete tasks effectively and accurately within agreed timeframes.
  • Following established Health & Safety and building regulation requirements on site.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Who we are looking for:

  • a team player who is able to work well with others.
  • Trade Qualified.
  • LBP preferred, but not essential.
  • experience in remediation/reclad work is preferred.
  • great communication and problem solving skills.
  • the ability to plan ahead.
  • diligent about providing accurate site documentation where required.
  • computer proficiency is not essential as all documentation on site is pre-formatted for ease and simplicity.
  • you have your own tool belt and power tools – large saws, breakers etc. will be provided.
  • NZ residency or work visa essential.
  • Current drivers licence.

Site Manager

  • Based primarily on the North Shore of Auckland
  • Hourly rate from $60 (independent contracting) depending on experience

The Role:

You will be hands on, working on the tools while mentoring and supervising your team. You will report to the company Director. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring progress of project and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Day to day running of the site and problem solving.
  • Ordering and delivery of materials.
  • Organising and managing subcontractors.
  • Ensuring site documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Managing Health & Safety on site.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers and Council where necessary

Who we are looking for:

  • a team player who able to lead and work well with others.
  • a registered LBP and Trade Qualified.
  • experience in remediation/reclad work is preferred.
  • great communication and contractor management skills.
  • the ability to plan ahead.
  • diligent about providing accurate site documentation.
  • computer proficiency is not essential as all documentation on site is pre-formatted for ease and simplicity.
  • you have your own tool belt and power tools – large saws, breakers etc. will be provided.
  • NZ residency or work visa essential
  • Full clean drivers licence essential
