Martin Bamford

Director

With over 35 years of experience in the building industry, including 20 years in project management and 18 years specialising in recladding, Martin Bamford is the backbone of Platinum Pacific Group. As a Trade-qualified Carpenter with a Trade Certificate and Advanced Certificate, Martin has worked on some of New Zealand's most challenging projects, including heritage building remediation in Christchurch and high-rise commercial developments.

Martin’s vision of “Excellence Without Compromise” has guided the company since its inception. His commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has driven Platinum Pacific Group’s success and earned the trust of countless homeowners.

Martin recalls: "One of my favourite projects turned a standard reclad into a stunning outdoor entertainment area and an additional bedroom. The transformation was incredible, and the clients sold the house for a tremendous amount. These are the moments where we truly add value."

Paul Scott

Site Manager

Paul Scott has been a cornerstone of Platinum Pacific Group since its inception in 2001. With 30 years in the building industry, Paul’s expertise spans reclads, renovations, and new builds. Starting his career in joinery, Paul’s hands-on experience and leadership have made him a trusted figure in the team.

Paul’s dedication is reflected in projects where he’s uncovered hidden gems, like a 1960s time capsule found in a reclad—a moment that connected the past and present for the homeowners.

Mike Liggett

Site Manager

With 40 years in the building industry, Mike Liggett brings extensive experience in high-value alterations and large reclad projects. A Trade-qualified Carpenter, he has completed his apprenticeship and Trade Certificate, equipping him with a deep understanding of construction processes.

As a Site Manager, Mike oversees the overall running of major reclad and alteration projects, coordinating subtrades and managing contract and consent documentation to ensure smooth project delivery.

Theresa Doubell

Director’s PA

Theresa ensures smooth operations behind the scenes as the Director’s PA. From managing project-related administration to liaising with clients, subcontractors, and Council, Theresa’s organisational skills keep every project on track.
